The Bay City Central Varsity Softball dugouts haven’t been painted in years because nobody has had the time or money. At the end of the season, the coaches asked the Booster Club about funding the project, and they accepted the proposal.
On September 15, 2018 some of the team gave up their Saturday morning to help make the dugouts look better than ever. Sierra Anderson, Brianna Hair, and Madi Evans were the only girls there to paint. The coaches are very excited to start the season off right, Coach Kurt Legner said,“New dugouts, new team, new year,’’ as he is very excited for the Wolves to attack the 2019 season.
The varsity dugouts will not look the same this year either, they will be painted different shades of the grey, purple, and yellow. It took about five hours to do the outside and inside of the dugouts but that wasn’t enough. The dugouts should be ready to up and go next month.
The wolf will be painted and the details will be in the next upcoming weeks. The season will begin in March and the Wolves will be ready to win the district title behind the new dugouts.
