Brody Brillinski by Ashlyn Robertson

Central High School Senior, Brody Brilinski has been playing soccer for 12 years. He started playing at the age of five. Brilinski’s parents put him in soccer at a young age and he says he wouldn’t change it if he could. He started off playing BASA, then moved into rec leagues, and now plays at the  high school level and with a travel winter league.

Brilinski loves soccer and when he's not playing on the varsity soccer team, he plays on a travel team in the off season. When asked what his favorite thing about soccer, Brilinski responded “I like the feeling of scoring goals.” Brilinski spends his time practicing onis off time to get better at the sport.

When not playing soccer, Brilinski spends time babysitting his one year old brother. “I can’t wait to teach him soccer, and make him my little prodigy,” he said. He likes spending time with him and watching him grow up. “I hope he grows up to love the sport just as much as I do.”

Brilinski also has a job at ABC Warehouse. He spends a lot of his time working when he’s not at school or soccer. Brilinski works stock at ABC Warehouse and has to lift heavy objects, like washing machines and refrigerators. Brilinski has a busy schedule but it challenges him to be a hard worker and makes him appreciate the time he has to play soccer.
