Bay City Central defeated the Warriors at Bay City Central as the Wolves advance to 7-7 on the year. As both teams prepared in warmups you could sense the tension in the air between the two teams.

     The Warriors came into Bay City Central looking to beat the Wolves for the first time in two years. All the players know that this is the last time they will play each other. Marcus Marcott wins the jump ball and the Wolves right away go at the Warriors as the Wolves go up early.

     Going into halftime the Warriors go up 27-21 as the Warriors outscore the Wolves 18-6 in the second quarter. When coach Jordan Duby was asked about adjustments coming out of half he said “There is a lot riding on this one. When you get the momentum in a rivalry, it’s important to keep it. The way these things go, you can either trend up or trend down, and we can’t trend down”.

     Going into the third quarter The Wolves outscored the Warriors 14-5 and came out for revenge after being outscored in the second quarter; leading scorers for the Wolves were Marcus Marcott with “18” and Elias Ramirez with “14”.

     Going into the fourth quarter the Wolves felt like they were in total control but the Warriors still had fight in them knowing that their seniors would never play these guys again. They put up a fight scoring 12 just as the Wolves did to make it a close game but the Wolves could not go out against their rivals for the last time.
