BRANDON HIGH SCHOOL: 14
The Wolves continue to improve, but could not dig out of an early hole and came up short in a 14-7 loss at soggy Engel field. There were many positives however, Dre Hawkins really stepped up to help a short handed defense as did Tyler Herber. The offense scored a season high and had more offensive zone possession time by far than any game this season.
Travis McLean is becoming a monster all over the field, fighting through a number of injuries. Our number one positive for the day was Landon Irwin, who has discovered his inner Lacrosse Lion and was in beast mode for a good percentage of the game.
The team is fun to watch and continues to grow. Next week the team should be back to full strength. Please come out and support your BCC Wolves.
